Responsibilities

Review data on reports and detect possible errors
Research new tax trends and regulations
Advise individuals and companies on tax strategies
Ensure compliance with government tax rules

qualifications

Experience as a Tax Preparer or a similar role
Good knowledge of tax preparation software
Advanced MS Office skills (particularly in using Excel)
Comprehensive understanding of government tax laws
Excellent computational ability
Effective verbal and written communication skills

Have the ability to work some weeknights and weekends
Experience preparing tax returns for low-and middle-income families, including but not limited to experience at VITA or TCE sites
Have familiarity with relevant tax policy
Experience with using Intercomor other similarcustomer relationship management (CRM)
Have the ablity to provide support via email, live chat, and SMS
Bonus if Fluent Spanish written/comprehension/speaking skills
